UC's College of Nursing is in Procter Hall, part of the UC Uptown Campus East and the Academic Health Center.
Established in 1889, the college was one of the first schools in the U.S. to offer a bachelor's degree in nursing.

In 2002, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited the College of Nursing for a ten-year period. With this approval, the College has the distinction of being continuously accredited for 71 years.
UC's College of Nursing is ranked in the top ten percent of U.S. nursing schools by US News and World Report.
In addition to intensive classroom training, UC nursing students gain experience in many different clinical settings throughout the Greater Cincinnati region, including hospitals, industry, clinics, community agencies and family settings. An education abroad program includes opportunities to work in Central America.
Dean Andrea Lindell (center) of UC's College of Nursing is leading a quality review of the country of Jordan’s 22 associate and six baccalaureate nursing programs.
The review process began earlier this year when Lindell traveled to Jordan to meet with dignitaries, including Her Royal Highness Princess Muna Al Hussein, director of the country’s nursing council and nursing leaders. During her visit, Lindell shared the expectations of a quality assurance review and how Jordan can effectively prepare for it. More Information.
