• Award of Excellence, total communications, magazine -- to Deborah Rieselman, Dawn High, John Bach, Mary Niehaus and Photo Services
  
  
• Award of Excellence, feature writing -- to Rieselman for an article on alumnus Mark Hutker
  
  
• Award of Merit, feature writing -- to Bach for an article on obesity research
  
  
• Award of Merit, other writing -- to Rieselman, Bach and Niehaus for the Panorama news section
