Catching up with Andre Hyland following his short film's debut at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival

Rolling Stone named former UC student Andre Hyland’s film as one of the 12 must-see Sundance successes.

According to the publication, “This is just a short, but Andre Hyland is so damn funny you get the feeling he’s going to be around for a long, long time.” “Funnel” was the only short film on the list.

Hyland says he received nothing but positive feedback from audiences and producers interested in his behind-the-scenes work and on-screen performance. Now back in LA, Hyland will meet with industry pros about possible future projects. He says he is most excited about the prospect of making his first feature-length film.
