Chinese culture on display
One of the grandest showcases of culture on UC's campus took place on Feb. 1, 2014, inside the Great Hall of Tangeman University Center.
The Chinese Lunar New Year draws hundreds of international and American students, faculty and staff for a three-hour-plus dinner and performances including traditional Xinjiang folk dance, instrumental solos, modern drama, hip-hop dancing and a fashion show.
The yearly event, designed to celebrate China's traditional Spring Festival, is hosted by UC's Chinese Mutual-Aid Association and the UC Chinese Students and Scholars Association.
