The MainStreet Stride foot parade has officially opened Alumni Weekend for the last several years. The red-and-black stream of hundreds of UC students, staff, alumni and friends snaking through the heart of campus -- from McMicken Hall to the Myers Alumni Center -- also signals a multitude of university, college and alumni events that make up the three-day Alumni Weekend celebration, the spring counterpart to fall's Homecoming.
Alumni from across the country return to campus for a host of reunion events, with special honors going to those who become "Golden Bearcats," marking their 50th anniversary as proud UC grads. The UC Alumni Association, including executive director Myron Hughes, Bus '86 (at center, above), welcomes all Bearcats to Alumni Weekend (held May 15-17, 2008).
