Alumni from the UC College-Conservatory of Music can generally be found in any show on Broadway and in most of the touring companies at any time. Tyler Maynard

Tyler Maynard, CCM '01

Actor. Received the '05 Theatre World Award and Drama Desk Award nominee as featured actor in an Off-Broadway musical for "Altar Boyz," in which he played Mark.

The New York Times wrote about his "Altar Boyz" role: "Maynard steals every scene with his way-too-enthusiastic choreography, his sassy showgirl moves and his coy swooning. The actor's mock-innocent facial expressions and sly comic timing are a constant delight. ... It's Mr. Maynard who stops the show. He's the most fully shaped character, and (his) daffy performance is the sharpest of the night."
